These terms govern access to the ShootMojo Gear public beta. They are written for testing and feedback, not as a substitute for the final commercial service agreement.
1. The beta service
ShootMojo Gear is an evolving, invitation-led workspace for equipment lists, production planning and connected handoff. Features may change, be paused or contain defects. Keep independent production records and do not rely on the beta as the only copy of a schedule, budget, call sheet, safety plan or client deliverable.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential and notify support if you believe an account is compromised. You may use the service only for work you are authorised to manage. We may suspend access to protect users, data, the service or a production.
3. Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of the lists, notes, documents, images, briefs and other material you submit, subject to the rights needed for us to host, process, display and transmit it to deliver the requested feature. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for your content, including any client, employer, contributor, performer or rights-holder approvals.
4. Copyright and third-party material
Do not upload, copy, republish, extract or distribute screenplay pages, commercial briefs, photographs, catalogue descriptions, logos, images or other material unless you have permission or a lawful basis. ShootMojo Gear does not grant you ownership of third-party catalogue data, trademarks, images or manufacturer content. Respect notices, licence terms, attribution requirements and access restrictions that accompany third-party material.
5. Scraping, crawling and automated access
You must not scrape, crawl, harvest, index, mirror, bulk-download or systematically extract the ShootMojo Gear site, catalogue, profiles, share pages, APIs or private work. You must not bypass access controls, rate limits, robots instructions, authentication or technical restrictions, or use automated agents to create accounts, test credentials or collect personal data. We may block or investigate activity that appears abusive or inconsistent with these terms. Written permission from ShootMojo Gear is required for any research or integration that needs bulk access.
6. AI-assisted and calculated results
Catalogue matching, document extraction, enrichment, budgets, schedules, power calculations, lens coverage and other assisted output are planning aids. They can be incomplete or wrong. A suitably qualified person must review safety-critical electrical decisions, legal or contractual commitments, production requirements, call sheets, budgets and client-facing documents before relying on them.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use ShootMojo Gear to upload unlawful, malicious, infringing, discriminatory or harmful content; impersonate another person; expose private production information; interfere with the service; probe or attack systems; transmit malware; or attempt to access another user’s account or project.
8. Sharing and exports
You are responsible for every collaborator, public setting, share link, PDF, CSV, image and other export you create. Check the audience before distribution and remove or rotate access when appropriate. A share link may be copied by anyone who receives it until access is revoked or the link expires.
9. Feedback and beta improvements
You may send suggestions, bug reports or workflow feedback. You grant ShootMojo Gear permission to use that feedback to improve the service without owing compensation, while we will not publish your confidential production content as a case study without permission.
10. Availability, warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the beta is provided on an “as available” basis without promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular production. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer, privacy or intellectual-property protections.
11. Suspension and ending access
You may stop using the beta at any time. We may suspend or end access for security, legal, operational or beta-management reasons. On closure, you should export any material you need before access ends; retention and deletion are handled under the Privacy Notice.
12. Changes and governing terms
We may update these beta terms as the service develops. The final legal entity, governing law, venue, commercial subscription terms and service-level commitments will be added before general release. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
